DATE: 19 Sep 2007

John E. Shelk, president and CEO of EPSA, has announced the addition of Sharon Royka Theodore to EPSA's regulatory team as director of regulatory affairs.

Theodore comes to EPSA from NiSource, Inc., where she served as manager of regulatory affairs in the company's Washington, D.C. office for 8 years.

"EPSA is very fortunate to have Sharon joining us at a critical time for the competitive power sector and the electricity industry generally. She is a highly regarded regulatory affairs professional with extensive experience in successfully advocating public policy positions before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Sharon's many talents are a major boost to EPSA's on-going federal and state regulatory initiatives," Shelk says.

Prior to her time at NiSource, Sharon helped open the Washington, D.C. office for TransCanada Pipelines and represented the company before various federal agencies, including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. She brings sixteen years of industry experience to this new role at EPSA. Sharon received a B.A. in business administration from Michigan State University.
